Expressing “or” in statements with “hoặc”

In Vietnamese, we use hoặc to express “or” in statements.

Structure

Place hoặc between two options to express “or”.

A + hoặc + B

Alternatively, we can use hoặc là (basically same meaning).

A + hoặc là + B

Examples

• Anh có thể tán thành hoặc không tán thành.
  You can agree or disagree.
