In Vietnamese, we use khi to express “when”.
Structure
Place khi before the subject or, if the subject is implied or empty, a verb to express “when”.
khi (+ subj.) + verb
An alternative to khi is lúc, which is slightly less preferred in written Vietnamese than khi (but, apart from this, lúc has its own usage).
